Late Night at The VineThe Vine Inn on Hospital Street, as one of the Words and Music Festival's oldest and staunchest supporters, and under the management of Colin Eagles, is pleased to host free late night acoustic music on both Wednesday and Thursday of this year's Festival.
Beginning around 10.00 pm through till approximately 11.30 pm, we will be presenting the perfect mellow musical finale to your Festival evening.
WEDNESDAY - A WORDS AND MUSIC ACOUSTIC SPECIAL
10.00 to 11.00 pm approx
A mellow finish to the first night of the festival. Acoustic songs from the Words And Music Massive...including appearances by Nigel Stonier, Tracey Browne, Fluff and Jim Farmer. An hour and a bit of original material, no doubt the odd judicious cover, great musicianship and good vibes.
THURSDAY - HEIDI BROWNE
10.00 to 11.00 pm approx
Heidi Browne is a fast rising, multi talented singer/ songwriter based in Shropshire, making her Words and Music debut. Playing guitar, violin and piano, displaying far reaching and diverse influences whilst sounding like no-one but herself... "For me songwriting is like taxidermy" says Heidi... "Take the skin off an emotion or an experience and stuff it till it stands up."
