Mark Radcliffe presents
Folk, Rock 'n' Roll!
Radio 2 and Radio 6 Music's Mark Radcliffe has spent his life talking in between records on the radio in order to avoid working for a living. He has been playing in bands since he was fourteen and has yet to achieve the massive success he misguidedly believes he deserves.

He did get into the charts with The Shirehorses with Marc 'Lard' Riley in his Radio 1 days, and has subsequently been part of folk rock band The Family Mahone, with whom he made three albums and more recently The Big Figures, with whom he played the Words and Music Festival last year, as well as currently performing some acoustic gigs with fellow Mahone multi-instrumentalist, Chris Lee.

Mark Radcliffe
He lives in Cheshire where he continues to work for a lasting peace in the Northwich area.  His favourite colour is purple and he enjoys real ale, Manchester City, fine cheeses and extreme limbo.

Following the success of last year's "Outtakes and Cupcakes" gig which saw Mark reading from his book accompanied by Scrumptillious cupcakes, followed by a performance by The Big Figures, this year Mark will be reading from his new book accompanied by Scrumptillious's homemade sausage rolls and rock cakes, followed by a performance by Mark and fellow musician Chris Lee - real rock 'n' roll evening!
